What do I do when I come to a tricky word?

•  Look at the pictures.
•  Read with your finger.
•  Get your mouth ready.
•  Start again.
•  Does that make sense?
•  Say the word slowly...   m-o-m Or d-o-g
•  Skip it, read on, then go back.
•  Look for chunks: ing, an, sh, in, ack
•  Where have I seen this word before?
